Call for Research Posters

We welcome posters of all topics in stem cell or regenerative medicine. The information and requirements for poster submission can be found below.

Eligibility

Participants must be students, research assistants or post-doctoral fellows of biomedical academy and institutions, and in principal, the participants should be the 1st author. Only one poster can be submitted by each participant.

Registration and Submission of posters (Deadline: 10 Apr 2023 23:59, Macau Standard Time GMT+8)

For presenting a poster at the conference, applicants should follow the link or scan the QR code below to submit the title and abstract and/ or the file (JPG or PDF format) of the poster on or before 10 Apr 2023 according to the requirements below. Late submission will not be accepted.

If you are not able to submit the poster on or before 10 Apr, you may just submit the title and abstract for the evaluation of the Poster Review & Award Committee. You will receive a notification via email indicating the acceptance or rejection of poster presentation in due course. Upon our confirmation of acceptance, those who have not submitted posters need to print out their posters and put up them at the conference on their own. Printing service is not available on site. We will only print out the accepted posters which are submitted successfully via this platform.

Poster Requirements

  1. The submitted work must be original, not plagiarized nor copied. The content may contain published or unpublished research work; if it has been published, please specify the copyright of the work. The poster should be in English.
  2. Be in JPG or PDF format (not less than 10MB nor bigger than 50 MB), with a resolution of 300 dpi. The poster size is A0, 84.1cm (wide) by 118.9cm (high).
  3. Uploaded poster file must be named as the full English name shown on the participant’s ID card. e.g. CHENXIAOTONG.pdf
  4. The content of the poster is not limited to the number of words, fonts, format, but only one page is allowed.
  5. The poster should include:
    • Title
    • Name(English and Chinese names as shown on the ID card) and affiliation of Author(s)
    • Objectives / Introduction
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Discussions
    • Summary/Conclusions
    • Acknowledgments
  6. The title of the poster and participant’s name must be placed prominently on the top of the poster.

All poster entries will be reviewed by the Poster Review & Award Committee. Once the entries are accepted, the participants will be provided with free meals and one-night accommodation (20 Apr) during the conference and a waiver of registration fee. Those who are not accepted can also join the conference online or in person (registration fee is required).

POSTER AWARD

The Poster Review & Award Committee will assess all submitted posters for the prizes and awards below.

  • One first prize winners: Each winner will receive a prize of RMB1,000.
  • Two second prize winners: Each winner will receive a prize of RMB500.
  • Three third prize winners: Each winner will receive a prize of RMB300.

Each winner will receive an award certificate.

The Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) of the University of Macau (UM) reserves the right of final interpretation and the right to amend the present rules and guidelines.
